Yesterday, Prof. Dr. Nor Azilah Husin, Mr. Amirul Syafiq Mohd Ghazali, and Madam Nurul Fatihah Zainudin from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS) of Albukhary International University (AIU) led a highly successful community engagement program at SK Baling, Kedah. The event, aimed at motivating and inspiring young minds, was attended by 63 primary school students, who eagerly participated in the interactive sessions.
Prof. Dr. Nor Azilah delivered an impactful motivational talk, focusing on striving for excellence, setting goals, and overcoming challenges. The students, drawn from various backgrounds, were deeply inspired by her encouragement and left with a renewed sense of purpose in their academic pursuits.
Mr. Amirul Syafiq Mohd Ghazali captivated the audience with his session on “Loving Mathematics.” His approach to making the subject engaging and fun was well-received, and students were seen interacting enthusiastically with the concepts he introduced. His passion for Mathematics resonated with both students and teachers, inspiring many to embrace the subject with a fresh perspective.
Madam Nurul Fatihah Zainudin’s involvement in coordinating and supporting the program ensured its smooth execution, highlighting the strength of teamwork in delivering meaningful outreach.
The hospitality extended by the staff of SK Baling, especially the school’s headmasters, Guru Besar, Mr. Manaf Bin Mad Daud, and Guru Cemerlang, Madam Aniza Elias, was exceptional. Their warm welcome and active participation reflected the strong collaboration between the school and the visiting speakers from AIU.
