Students from Albukhary International University (AIU) recently took part in the iCompEx’24, an international innovation and invention competition through exhibition that draws participants from various backgrounds.
Their involvement centered around the Palestinian booth. This booth was a vibrant showcase of Palestine’s rich cultural heritage, featuring traditional clothing, artifacts, and an array of cultural displays that offered visitors an immersive experience of Palestinian traditions. One of the most impactful elements of the booth was the screening of a NAKBA video that recounted the historical struggles and enduring resilience of the Palestinian people. An AIU student gave a heartfelt speech at the booth, highlighting the importance of honoring the resilience of the Palestinian community and deeply resonated with the audience.
Additionally, the presence of Mr. Muaz and Ms. Izzati from the Student Affairs Department, AIU further enhanced the university’s marketing efforts at the event. Their active engagement with visitors played a crucial role in promoting AIU’s values and educational opportunities.
AIU students’ involvement in iCompEx’24 went beyond mere participation; it was a powerful expression of solidarity and cultural advocacy. By bringing the rich heritage and resilient spirit of the Palestinian people to the forefront, they created a meaningful and educational experience for all attendees.
