The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has recently concluded an extensive accreditation audit for the Bachelor of Social Development (Honours) programme at Albukhary International University (AIU). This audit took place over two days, on 26 and 27 September 2024, to assess the programme’s quality and compliance with national educational standards.
The Panel of Assessors (POA) consisted of Dr. Siti Nor Awang from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Professor Dr. Ahmad Hariza bin Hashim from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and MQA representative, Puan Hasila binti Sapiri. Through interviews, document review, and site visits, the team examined various programme elements, such as curriculum design, teaching methods, assessment processes, research, and student support services.
The accreditation result will be released in the Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Akreditasi (MJA) Tahun 2024 in October. This decision will be crucial for the programme’s standing and the future career prospects of its graduates.
